Tomas Antonio Alarcon Rivera, M.Sc.—Technical Director & Founder
Tomas Alarcon is a multilingual electronics engineer and PMP-certified technology leader with more than 15 years of success guiding cross-disciplinary teams from concept to launch in aerospace, IoT, and consumer-electronics sectors. Currently the founder of LTR Technology Ltd. in Shenzhen, he advises global clients on new-product introduction, industrial design, and supply-chain strategy while orchestrating rapid prototyping and manufacturing.
Earlier, Tomas managed hardware engineering for Carrier’s residential-safety division, where he organized a B2C R&D team and spearheaded a next-generation CO alarm that surpassed UL and ULC standards. As CTO of Sycra Technologies, he expanded the company’s smart-device portfolio, designing a 60 GHz radar sensor and tripling the rate of new product releases. His prior experience spans satellite systems engineering and project management at the Bolivarian Space Agency (ABAE) and CAST in Beijing, including full FPGA-based payload development for nano-satellites and oversight of international launch campaigns.
Tomas holds a master’s degree in Integrated & Embedded Systems from Politecnico di Torino and completed specialist training in satellite engineering at the Chinese Academy of Space Technology. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, he is known for pairing rigorous engineering practice with clear communication and a customer-oriented mindset—driving teams to deliver innovative, reliable products on time and on budget.
